Loved this book so much more than the first two the nostalgia is full force as I like Jonathan as a villain much more than valentine and YAY THEIR NOT SIBLINGS!!!!!! but she still kissed her brother

This book had me at the end of my seat for a long amount of time. In my opinion Cassandra Clare could have just finished the series here (I'm obviously glad she didn't because the storyline gets even better with the last three books). There were a fantastic abundance of twists and surprises.
There was a lot more intensity and action in this book compared to the previous two. The pace was quick, in my opinion, from start to end which had been a problem for me before. The plot of this book was pretty much a rollercoaster ride. I loved the introduction of new characters, especially our new villain and how he ties into the rest of the storyline.
Overall, this was definitely my favourite book out of the first three in the series. This book really does have the whole package; a great storyline, well developed characters and an amazing world to bring it all together. Cassandra Clare did a brilliant job as a writer of bringing the reader into her world and making them want more.
