I’m actually really proud of Mare and Cal for taking their time and not directly going back together because that’s exactly what they need. LOVE THEM SO SO S SO MUCH !

I'm so relieved to be done with this series. I feel like I've been reading it for a year. Mare is insufferable and everybody else's POV is more interesting. The last book was the best out of all four but maybe that's because finally something had to happen to wrap up the plot since essentially nothing happened in book two and three. I'm just so fucking done.

I’m just bored. This is almost entirely first-person inner dialogue of how no one can be trusted, and how everyone has either screwed you over or helped you in the past.

I really enjoyed book 1 and 2 of this series….but I don’t think I’m ever going to finish this book.
