They just get worse, and I keep reading them...

I don’t know how I’m going to do it once I’m through this series. I look forward to the next book each time I’m reading one. There was so much going on in this one with Bonnet re-emerging, Brianna getting pregnant again, Arch being a traitor, and Bree and Roger leaving - which broke my heart. I was heartened to read they bought Lallybroch, though. I’m still hung up on one part that never was explained or resolved - Jamie told someone that if he died, Claire had to go because she’s an “old one”. There wasn’t any additional explanation. I’m hoping that comes up again because what does it mean?!?!

Brilliant as ever! Loved this even more than the last two, things felt like they really picked up in this book. It is beyond tantalising how Gabaldon leaves the story at the end of each book!

I have no words. Everything comes together in such a heartbreakingly beautiful way in the end of this book.

I also found that the POVs flowed much smoother in this book and so much happens! It’s crazy! I do wish we had more of Jamie’s POV though. I can’t wait to read the next book.

My favourite in the series since Dragonfly in Amber.

This book! It was so much better than the previous one, there was action all around and I loved it! I flew through this!

Much better than book 5!! And holy cow, what the lovely Diana Gabaldon puts these poor characters through! Can't wait to start reading book 7. :)
