I've been meaning to revisit this especially after binging The Girls Next Door like three times in the past year (shout out to Tubi!). I think I read this last time so I enjoyed hearing Holly narrate the audiobook and laugh when she was doing Hugh and Criss Angel's voices. Hugh was no doubt a psycho, especially given what we've learned in the last few years. I believe everything Holly said then and I still believe her now when I watch her Youtube series where she reviews TGND episodes. I hate that she wasted all of those years with Hugh and then got with another weirdo right after but I'm happy she's in a good place now. I still need to watch the Playboy documentary.

I never really watched The Girls Next Door but I really enjoyed this read. I love when a memoir actually involves some secrets and gossip and isn't totally white washed. Better than Kendra's book.

Even though I own the hard copy of this amazing book, I decided to give the audio book a try. And it did not disappoint. Holly Madison reads this amazing tale of going from an every day young woman, to being Hugh's #1 girlfriend, to becoming a star and a mother. She has had such an amazing journey. I'm really looking forward to read The Vegas Diaries by Holly Madison as well.

I’d be curious to hear her thoughts as she re-reads this today. I love that she was able to tell her story but it’s clear the feelings were fresh and judgements on the other girls were sometimes harsh. All in all I love Holly and I am a supporter of women’s rights and wrongs!!

Going in, I knew this book was outside of my scope of interests. But I was curious and this had been on my TBR for a long time.
This girl is vain. And I’m not even talking about the playboy stuff. Every single time she has an opportunity to name drop and shit talk, she does.
I’ve never seen an episode of Girls Next Door, so I have no idea if her perspective lines up with her on screen character, but this book definitely paints her as petty.
