I am always privy when reading biographies that not everything is 100% honest. But whilst reading this I felt it was a genuine recount by her.
As a fan of the TV show (having watched countless repeats) life at the Playboy Mansion seemed fun and I somewhat envied these girls that had this seemingly joyous life.
But boy, was this an eye opener to what life was really like when the cameras stopped rolling.

Like a lot of people I have always been curious about the Playboy mansion and the almost cult-like lifestyle that goes on there. Holly Madison, Hugh Heifer’s former number one girlfriend, holds nothing back in this unique memoir. Holly talks about all that goes on inside the Playboy mansion and the control and manipulation that happens behind those closed doors. She calls out everyone that wronged her during her time at the mansion and definitely didn’t write this book to mend any relationships. I really enjoyed this one and learned a lot about a secret world few are privy to! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Want to be utterly entranced for two days while you are in an airport or on a beach?! Well this is the perfect book for you! Talk about dishing on some major secrets, if you want them Holly Madison has got them and she isn't afraid to tell you every juicy one! Trust me on this one it's not my typical read but man was it worth it.

Back to back with 'I'm glad my mom died', it was fascinating reading the tale of two very different women in fame who were deeply abused by those around them- but the way they worked through things is so starkly different, and the narration style is amazingly different too. A really good book!
Like anyone else who was bored and had access to E! in 2006 I watched plenty of episodes of The Girls Next Door, so when this book came up for $1.99 as a Kindle deal I picked it up. It was pretty much what I expected (most of the dirt had already been covered by the tabloids and in social media). I did think the use of the quotes from Alice in Wonderland at the beginning of each chapter were quite clever.
