This book went much more quickly when I switched to hard copy. The narrator of the audio book wasn't very good and the stories were confusing. Overall, a good if typical read.
SpoilerI knew the Colombian priest would have some role, it was just all too convenient otherwise. Glad to see they took the Assassin alive for her daughters' sake.

While this wasn’t such a bad Michael Bennett book it royally pissed me off that it abruptly ended and I still had a thick portion left of pages. JP added a bookshot at the end of this book so it seemed way thicker than what it was. And I’ve already read said bookshot so I feel like I just got ripped off.

As always AMAZING!

Just a commute read for me. Set in the land of novels, where things work out and emotions are backdrop.

It wasn't my favorite Michael Bennett book. I liked the opening but at times the book lost itself. I was reading it on my kindle it said I was 69% done and then the book ended with a scene with Brian. I didn't understand what happened when I thought I had more to read. This book had the manhunt bookshot at rhe end.

Now I need the next MB book to see what happens because it just ended with OK what next.

The next Detective Michael Bennett thriller in which the drug dealer's mother (whom Bennett shot in the last book) asks the cartel to put a hit on him. The hit woman, Alex, very nearly succeeds.
