Part relatable, part not so much. Zeba talks about her experiences growing up in Saudi Arabia vs India, her experience dealing with hair loss as a South Asian woman alongwith that the tedious process of finding a suitable match for herself and then finally carving her own space and identity in her own community and as a minority in the UK.

I enjoyed this book. Its really easy to read and the themes are cleverly interwoven with the text. I think it feels quire western, which I am surprised by, and at times I feels a little sharp and harsh towards women in the East, and as though there is a strong western perspective that I am not sure is intentional. I found it an interesting read though, and a well formed perspective on womanhood anf growing into one's self in a place that isn't safe or welcoming for it.
