There were some nice short stories in this book but there were also ones that I found a bit boring or a bit quick/far-fetched. I liked how different they all were to each other though and it was a great book to have next to my bed to read at night so that I could read a couple of complete short stories before going to sleep.

These short stories were great to just pink up and read. You didn't have to get too invested in any of them because they ended in no time. They were still entertaining and could be likened to a sweet treat that you have every once in a while but you don't want to sit and gorge yourself out on them.

This got to be the most frustrating novel I have ever read and you might be confused because it's still a five star for me.
It's been quite a long time since I last picked up a book so I had quite the expectations for this one. And it was new to me, this genre. I've been closed off on reading YA novels where girls and boys fall in love young, fight young, break up young, and make up young. And the book ends when the two young people suddenly had their happily ever after. But it was very different for this one.
Honestly, I didn't know where the story is going and how it would end. I was very much afraid that all the bad-timing and the conspiring of the world against Rosie and Alex would win. And I would have lost my faith in love right there and then.
I don't know, I'm not very good at writing review. They're just basically a chaos of my emotions and reactions about the story. How it really touched me.
I was so frustrated with how Rosie's life turned out that when Alex found out they both felt the 'silence', I wasn't able to stop my tears. I would have taken it really personally if they never had a happy ending.
Thank you Cecelia Ahern for this wonderful novel.

Some stories are damn good and extremely touching.
some others are so-so and even hard to understand the twist.
it was a good light read :)
