So it appears the points conservatives call flippant were already stated here. He's calling out a lot of people for self censorship, he points out how Nazis = bad is important for decolonization. IDK if it's occidentalist, but it's a fair assessment.

I listened to an audiobook version of this on YouTube that censored the slurs, so I don't even know yet what those slurs were, but this book called some much shit out & has talking points that are very common in my day now. For example, my generation was about to take Nazis = evil, to figure out that racism in USA is evil too, and this book uses a similar methodology.
