Another excellent book in the series. Took a little longer to draw me in than the first book but still absolutely loved this.

This is the second installment in the HMRC series, again this did not disappoint. I felt the The Shadow Cabinet was a lot more action packed than the first book with more demons giving this a much darker edge.

The Hebden girls are my people. Juno weaves the story from different perspectives so well that the story flows without feeling jolted from one perspective to another. I unexpectedly really liked a character I was prepared to hate going into this. Some of the new characters were written well to add to the plot, even though they made my blood boil during every encounter.

The book was thrilling and exciting, it ended on a cliffhanger that left my jaw hanging (again). I cannot wait to devour more of this story and will be racing to read the third book as soon as it’s published.. please give us a date.
