Wellington library book.

Love the artwork. Simple black and white comic strip style with very detailed characters and expressions. Also, all about a death metal family living their life and I can relate to much of it

I had a few giggles from this. The jokes were cute and I loved the dark themes. But from the blurb I expected to see more lovecraftian things than there actually were, which was a bit disappointing, but it was still cute.

I haven't laughed so much while reading a book in a LONG time. I fucking loved this. So much. We need a volume 2. And I demand more adventures with Blassie and Lilith.

If you ever wanted to know what a holiday in hell is like, Sløth and his wife Lucyfer will be happy to show you around the segway tours of purgatory and their ongoing question whether or not the orgy on TV qualifies as news in hell or if it's in the pay-per-view package. But it's all good, because Sløth's band is in a creative slump currently, his daughter proves her love by showing her middle finger and his son has a Christian phase going on.

Short, funny and charming. What more could you ask for in a collection of funnies? Metal! Well, there's plenty of Metal in this one, because JP Ahonen knows the scene so well that he can poke fun at it in the most hilarious way. Sometimes, they're in-jokes, other times they're outlandish jokes but everyone can get a good laugh out of them.

A fantastic book.  I hope he makes another one.  It makes me so happy that I own this.

Hilarious, lovable satanists. This is totally Calvin & Hobbes meets Call of Cthulhu meets Mayhem. It's grim, it's goofy, it's got heart. Give it a try.
