Gareth. My guy. I don’t know what happened to you, but you are stomping around like the Abominable Snowman with your fingers in everyone’s business, and it’s giving "chaotic disaster energy" in the worst way. I get that it's for the plot, but seriously, this man was never going to make it, he’s basically out here starting earthquakes with every step! Subtlety? Never heard of her.

Meanwhile, the tension brewing between Dante and Ryder? I'm stressed. These two are on a slow-motion collision course, and it’s clear it’s going to end in absolute flames. Their gangs want Elise gone yesterday, and honestly, you can't even blame them, because she is giving baby bigfoot vibes, especially for someone who is undercover, come on now!

Leon? Sweet baby wolf is giving me major cutesy Tamlin energy, but like, before Tamlin fell off the deep end, and I am so here for it. Also, the glitter prank? DEAD. BURIED. RESURRECTED.

Wasn’t a huge fan. Felt like it didn’t add anything substantial to the first book and they could have easily been combined. There was little progression in both the romance between all of them (with the exception of Leon) and the mystery of her brother’s death. Very repetitive, with every character’s povs containing the same points as their previous ones
