These books have me in a chokehold…. Elise is still on the hunt for her brothers killer and getting closer to the 4 kings of the academy. Now that Gabriel Knows who she is things are getting exciting and she’s starting to meet more members of the kings family’s! Elise getting between Dante and Ryder at the club was top tier and I’m so glad I have the next book to immediately pick up!

Savage Fae feels like whiplash...in the best and strangest ways. The four Kings, once bound by malice, are suddenly forced to measure every move against the presence of one girl. Elise is intriguing...sharp enough to read others but blind to her own flaws, self-assured to the point of arrogance, yet still someone you want to follow.

The pacing is unpredictable: sometimes lingering so long in a moment you can feel the air thicken, other times rushing through days like you’re chasing something just out of sight. It keeps you entertained, but not enchanted...when you put it down, it’s easy to forget where you left off.

If you’ve come here through Zodiac Academy, this series offers a satisfying expansion of the world, new dynamics, and a web of shifting loyalties. As a standalone? It’s good, but it doesn’t burn deep enough to haunt you.

Appreciated that some of the gang stuff picked up and more mystery was starting to be solved outside of just academy drama. Excited to see her relationship progress with the guys and see what happens with the deal between Ryder and Dante to not touch her. Ready for Gabriel to stop being on/off so much and hoping that Leon stays her golden boy.
