I really think I’m going to be done with this series. I was enjoying zodiac academy so much but these took such a turn. They’re dark, the characters are dark, and the trauma is absolutely overwhelming. The lack of plot is frustrating because it seems like the authors focused way more on the smut than the story line. I skip smut anyway but found myself skipping huuuuuge chunks of this book only to be rewarded with minimal story.
I might spoil the series so I can go back to ZA. I know these are loved by so many but I just don’t think they’re for me.
