I am slightly neutral about this book and would love to know whether plastic surgery is as prevalent in Korean culture as shown in the book. I liked that there were different narratives that the reader needed to follow.

i definitely feel like this book had one too many main characters. some of their stories were really fascinating if delved into deeper and one less character could’ve provided us with that. it was still a pretty interesting book to me it wasn’t a bad read at all but it could’ve been better

I really enjoyed this book. It’s a beautiful story of women slowly coming together to support each other. But it’s not in a girlboss kind of way. These women are not trying to have the best careers and often have no goals other than to make it through the day. They frequently judge each other but are there to support each other and feel connected.
