A stunning conclusion to a wonderful series. I love Ngan’s writing so much: it’s beautiful, poignant, and emotional. I hope she writes another book soon!
I think this is the strongest book in the series, although still three stars for me (maybe more like 3.5 to be fair, but I've rounded down). I do struggle with the writing style, which is full of painfully clichéd phrases and telling instead of showing - it feels very YA, and not in a good way. I enjoyed this book though, especially its depiction of Wren and Lei's romance. Ngan really conveys how deeply in love with each other they are, even while facing challenges to their relationship and individually. The characters in general are very endearing in this series which is ultimately kept me engaged throughout.
I really liked how this developed (especially because Lei and Wren developed indepently from each other). And Nitta with her battle chair and lazy chair was awesome...

4.5 stars. This book was so gripping and exciting, I constantly wanted more! Love how everything came together in the end. Glad we got a sapphic couple with a happy ending!
