Excellent

This is a superb series that I love. They make me laugh cry and think. Everything one needs from a good book. The vignettes are short and sweet.

Since this is book 12 in the Bellingwood series I am obviously a fan. Bellingwood is my guilty pleasure. The books are light hearted, blatent, predictable and incredibly twee but I can't stop reading them. They're an easy tonic, heart warming and charming. They're mostly dialogue, require little concentration and are the perfect escapism. Out of the Shadows takes place at Halloween and is a ghost story/mystery which is perfectly safe for those afraid of bumps in the night. After reading 2 Stephen King books this was just what I wanted. Realistically the quality of the writing and plot are only worthy of 2 stars but I enjoy the series so much and this installment I still gave it 3 stars. It's like a terrible soap opera you just can't help but watch.
