This book is amazing.
My younger brother has autism and my family and I have learnt more from this book than we have anywhere else. To hear first hand experiences has been so helpful and from it we have been able to understand and adapt to help him in a way we haven't been able to do before. Books like these are so helpful to get information out there, people fear things that they don't understand and the more knowledge available the less fear there will be of those who are "different".

A great book for those with ASD or to help others understand ASD. Tally's experiences were vivid and, told through her lens, highly relatable.

Good representation of the world from a neurodivergent perspective, I did find it was quite slow pace at times and did sometimes become repetitive but the character delevopment was nice

"Actually, the more I think about it, the more I reckon that a lot of the cons of autism are not really caused by autism but by how other people react to it."

Tally is an 11 year old girl struggling with the concept of being “normal”. She has autism, and through this wee narrative and her diary entries we get a glimpse at the complexities of being on the spectrum as a child. Her family and friends usually try their hardest and this book captures the genuine ups and downs of this journey as part of the support network for Tally as she navigates the already complicated world of being a tweenager.

Libby Scott is an angel on earth. What an amazing girl who opened up to the world with this co-collaboration, which is genuinely insightful and extremely heart wrenching at times.

I think every human being should read this book.
