This was such a fun book. The characters are intriguing and I loved watching them deal with their complex lives as they struggled to find their way to True North. A great read!

The story flowed well and had really nice pacing. I highly enjoyed the characters and even the side characters had a lot of potential. The competitive setting between the food truck and the restaurant definitely created some well-needed entertainment and I really enjoyed to get to experience that side of the story. I’m really bummed though that we didn’t get any insights in their ‘first’ love. I wasn’t immediately sold on the connection between the characters and if there had been a bit more backstory that would have been easier. Either way I had fun with this and I’m definitely looking forward to the rest of the series!

This was the perfect mix of sexy times to emotional content. Yes, the conflict was transparent, but that didn't detract from the impact. For a debut it was particularly good. I really like that it featured a Filipino family.

This is a great summer read. It's warm, fluffy, and everything I look for in a poolside read.

I loved this! Both Drew and Camille were lovely, their chemistry was palpable and layered, and the conflict was believable. I can tell this will be one I'll reread.
