I couldn’t get more than 10% through this book. I really wanted to enjoy it because I was curious to see how the whole Kage/Declan situation was going to turn out, I like Sloane/Nat so I wanted to see how they would fix or help the Kage/Declan situation but my god I couldn’t get over Riley.
She just kept comparing herself to her sister and putting herself down like Sloane was supermodel pretty but she was a troll ugly. It was just too much and annoying so I stopped reading.

“ You make me believe in miracles, Riley Rose. When I’m with you, I feel like my life hasn’t been such a waste.”
3.5 stars.
Easily my favorite book in the series so far!! Riley and Mal were perfect and the best couple in this series hands down! I could've done without the whole Spider thing as it didn't add anything to the story and just felt like a ploy to turn him into an asshole before his book but overall this book is the only one that is worth it in this series.

I loved this story. Riley being overshadowed by her sister and still showing up to support her made me want to cry. Mal’s affectionate nature towards Riley is everything.

Meh. It was good but it just felt bland. I know it's the farthest from bland, it was pretty eventful. The characters just felt flat and bland. Liked the plot, very entertaining.
Also, loved Sloane in her book but she irritated me in this book. like why you giving your sister a "makeover" and making her dress uncomfortably and commenting on her looks so damm much?? Then basically humiliating her in front of people she doesn't even know by calling her a liar?!?
