I found the book a bit boring especially in the middle and really struggled to get through it if you have the.book read it its alright but i wouldn’t go out you way to bye it. I am not sure if i miss read the book but it had a falling in live with your captor trope which i personally hate

This was a fascinating exploration of a lesser known event in history. I loved Asta's character and really related to her as a woman. I felt the writing didn't always have the best flow to it and found the use of parentheses a bit excessive - but on the whole, an enjoyable read.
