gosh this was good. i loved elise and all of the guys, i normally have one i dont like but i like everyone pretty equally right now. to be honest have the first couple zodiac books this one was kinda disappointing?? i just expected more pain i guess. but that just lets me know im not ready for what’s to come , i have no doubt i will be shedding tears. and i typically don’t like cliffys but im kinda sad there wasn’t one? like yeah there are unanswered questions and plot points that we just found out at the end but its nothing heart racing and i was kind of looking forward to that

I cannot even form sentences. I am now just obsessed with this spin off as the main Zodiac series.
Do yourself a favor and dive in. You will quickly become enamored but the lovely badass MC who takes no sh*t from anyone. Least of all the Kings of the school. Even though she is a warrior she still shows her softer side while seeking revenge for her brother’s death.
I cannot wait to see where Caroline and Susanne take this story line.

Reading a book by these authors has been on my wishlist for quite some time. I do think I have their first quarantaine book on my Kindle somewhere, but for some reason that one didn't immediately speak to me. But when I asked for recommendations in a reverse harem group this one came up. I see everyone reading the Zodiac Academy books and I'm also curious about them, but this one is RH and less bully and I prefer that without a doubt. So, this was gonna be my first one!

This book was exactly what I had hoped it would be and I now can't wait for my new creditcard month to start so I can order the rest of the series. Although there is not that much smut, surprisingly (I had expected more of it), I loved the tension and chemistry when it comes to these characters. There are quite a few factors complicating whatever relationships they all would like to have, but it's very clear that things will happen at some point.

I also quite enjoyed the murder mystery and how there are a few hints and glimpses hidden in the point of view chapters of the others here and there. It's quite clear that something DID happen and that our King(s) might be involved. We just don't know how and why yet. But since we're also reading chapters from the past, written from the brother's point of view, we can see how things are slowly spinning out of control.

But what I enjoyed the most in this book is the politics between the different gangs. Since the book takes place at the academy, where they're not allowed to actively murder each other, we get some watered down version of the fight, but it's clear that their rivalry is brutal and that it left some deep scars on all the characters involved. To get to that Reverse Harem there is a lot of growing, learning and forgiving to do. I can't wait to read how it's eventually going to happen!
