Bridgette Davis is a spoiled 18 year old who lives a superficial life with her dad. Her fathers company develops a virus that if falls into the wrong hands could cause mass disease, when the Italian mafia comes calling to steal and use the vial as blackmail, Bridgette’s father calls in the local MC to recover what was stolen and keep Bridgette safe.
Loki is the president of the Royal Bastards MC, he is a 35 year old asshole who has lived a hard life and apologizes to no one. When Loki is hired by Mr. Davis to locate and recover the missing vial, he takes the job, not only is it a shit ton of money but Loki will get his chance to hit at the people responsible for his mothers death. What he didn’t see coming was an extra $20 grand to babysit Bridgette.
Things are icy and not easy between them but as things get easier she becomes his Birdie.

I loved this book. I couldn’t put it down. Loki is absolutely an asshole and hard, but he has this soft side that is only for birdie. Birdie is such a strong FMC, loved her growth.

I love motorcycle club books and this was decent, but I was hoping for a different kind of connection between the two MMCs.

The sass and sparks fly between bratty, spoiled rich girl Bridgette and rough (and much older) biker Prez Loki!
He’s tasked with safeguarding her life as part of a job his Motorcycle Club takes.
He’s so alpha and so very sexy! I absolutely love him!
It’s a gritty story that ALSO has the snark and chemistry that makes enemies to lovers so good!
The back and forth is so entertaining and makes the chemistry amazing!
As the story moves forward it becomes obvious the main characters aren’t the stereotypes they first seemed. They are complex, multi-dimensional people.
It also is super HOT!! And the sexy times are written so well-They are really unique and fresh! Did I mention it’s scorching HOT?
The secondary characters are fascinating and really likable “bad guys” who are really more grey than all dark/bad. They add a lot to the story and I’d love to read more of them in the future (hopefully, fingers crossed)
The bond and brotherhood the MC characters have is so great!
I think it’s a unique MC romance. It has all the elements I want in one. It is gritty, the bikers are crass and rough. They also have a ton of heart! They all have something that makes them stand out and add their voice to their character.
The main characters both grow and overcome some big/emotional things. I love this very fresh story!
Enjoyed it SO much!!

The grunge. The dirtiness. The filth. The power dynamic. The wit and banter. Oof. Just yes. Please.

Holy shit! This book was a hard one to put down. I was not sure what I was getting into when I started it but every page had me wanting more. The spice, the drama, the everything!
