I love motorcycle club books, and one day on TikTok, I saw Walker packing a box for one of her orders, and she was giving some blurbs for other books in this series, and I instantly knew that I needed to read them ASAP! So in this first book, we follow Birdie, whose whole life is about to flip upside down because she's this spoiled princess from a wealthy family. I mean the opening scene, she is complaining about how boring her life options are while she spends thousands of dollars on bathing suits that she's only going to wear once! But apparently, people at her father's company have been up to some pretty nasty things, and now he is struggling to get everything cleaned up, so he enlists this club to not only steal back this virus but also protect his baby! To say she sees some crazy things in the clubhouse is an understatement, but I love that we get both her and Loki's points of view. I thought we spent a lot of time there in the clubhouse, but I guess it wasn't that long in the book's timeline before she gets kidnapped and goes through some terrible trauma, the way this man is determined to save her and then gets rid of whoever touched a hair on her head was CRAZY! I loved this book! I ended up devouring all 5 books back to back within 4 nights! Then I didn't realize that this is just a tiny piece of the ginormous Royal Bastards MC UNIVERSE! Now I have a new mission in life, to read all of the series in this world PRONTO!
