A very slow classic about societal status.

While reading, we follow two female characters, friends and families.

Not a classic I will read again.

The story was alright and was narrated interestingly in a breaking the fourth wall kinda way that worked well. However, it also made me really understand why there are abridged versions of books like this! 31 hours is too long to be listening to one book and remain fully captivated by it!
