Unsure.
I finished this book last night. I didnt write my review right away because I'm not sure what it was about this book.
I LOVED the idea of a book club disguised sex club. Love the idea of a woman searching for her own. Her own power, her own money, her own respect.
Jessica is a woman who married an older rich man who is searching for power, sex and respect. When she forms this book/sex club, she has no idea what is in store for her and her husband in the future. People aren't always who they say they are, and sex isn't always just sex.

I'm not really sure I liked the ending. With the option of more power and money in front of her, why not take it? But nevertheless, it was a quick read for me. I'd read more from this author if given the opportunity.
Thank you to Netgalley for allowing me an advanced read.

Even though I’m not a great fan of erotica, I decided to give Club Sunrise as try. I’m glad I did.

What I liked about this novel is that it wasn’t all erotica. There’s some nice romance, and even a mystery. The plot twists are built in at the right moments that make for an engaging read that isn’t purely erotic activity driven. Author, Suriano has managed to compile that right amounts of erotica, mystery and romance in an attractive package.

There isn’t much to not like about Club Sunrise except that I didn’t much care for the multiple partner scenes.

Overall, a pretty masterful read that made me rethink my opinions toward erotic novels. Four outstanding stars.

I received a digital copy of the novel from BooksGoSocial. The review herein is completely my own and contains my honest thoughts and opinions.

Didn’t really like this. Read this last year. Forgot to add for some reason.

I have been trying to figure out what I didn't like about this book. I am a strong believer that if you have erotica that is not a novella - I think a decent backstory needs to be added. I found sex or sex adjacent occurrence happens pretty much on page one with little context of the characters and their stories.
I found the story a little disjointed with the scandal, the prostitution ring start-up, and the relationship with her husband - I was lost a lot of the time. '
The sex scenes were many however they didn't last too long - that could be someone's personal choice but I would rather lot of dialogue in my sex scenes

A-ok read for me personally

Well, the story is actually not bad... but there is a lot of information, and you really need to pay attention to get all the little details.

Some of the business technicalities I didn't understand and left me confused and annoyed.
But after having finished the novel, I actually think it is a quite clever story, and it will make a very interesting film one day...

As for the erotic side of the novel - well, yes - there is a lot of sex in it, but it is not at all what I would call erotica.

I was drawn to the cover and the premise of the book sounded different and a potential saucy summer read.
However what could have been a great plot just didn't work. Unlikeable and unrelatable characters and clunky sex scenes with a complicated business corruption plot awkwardly weaved in.
What did have potential just didn't work for me
