The Two Lions is a sweet little manga about two boys slowly falling for eachother. A slow burn romance in which Junpei takes his time to get to know the unfriendly Leo. Something that is quite admirable as Leo has a bad reputation and that it is the reason he barely has any friends. But Junpei keeps on trying and trying.

It's a sweet story. Nothing groundbreaking, but the manga delivers exactly what is promised. A love story of two boys developing feelings for eachother and slowly opening up. In the end Leo's past comes back to hunt him, but it actually gives the last push for them to be honest to eachother.

The story has a nice pace and it's all very sweet.

god forbid a rumored gang leader can find his own equal at a college he attends far away; and a sunshine character at that!!

no, he has to beat up a bunch of phony dudes trying to act tough first before he can get his happy ending.

thankfully, him and junpei get it ❣️

CW: Bullying, Violence

This was a cute BL read! We follow two college students, Junpei and Leo. They meet by chance one day at school, and have very differing personalities. Junpei is very outgoing and kind, whereas Leo has a wall around him with an angry facade. The two start to talk and form a friendship that may develop into something more.
I liked this one, though I did want a little more from it. I felt like the story's slow pace was well done. The art is also beautiful. If you haven't read this one yet, I'd recommend it. I think it might be a good starter BL story.
