Holy fuck, do I love this series! I'm so proud of all my girls finding strength and overcoming their present obstacles! And Momoko's rejection was fucking AWESOME! Way to stand your ground, girl! Sugawara has grown quite a bit and I'm so happy that she's finally finding something she cares about. She may not be my favorite character, but I appreciate her growth. Hongo didn't get a lot of the spotlight, but considering she's had a lot of drama the last two volumes, I think she earned a much needed break. And HOLY FUCKING SHIT, am I happy that Sonezaki both confessed her love AND learned not to judge others by their appearances! She's had a lot of solid character development and it really paid off in this volume! Kazusa was really strong in this volume and I could feel her strength and determination. While I've been on the fence with her as a character, she's really made some strides to become more courageous and I can't applaud her enough. Holy shit, this volume was so damn good, what's in store for me next volume?! I'm not sure my heart can take much more!

Hmmmmm...I’m really happy about Izumi and Kazusa’s conversation but Nina’s side story is very unsettling and creepy. Not sure I want to read more of that :/

Many manga series seem to either exclusively represent a innocent first love experience or a gritty, sexualized world full of dangers. I enjoy how this series shows that those two depictions of love and sexual experience actually both exist in the same spaces and bump up against each other.
