this book is great i guess. if you throw your brain and feminism out of the window. don’t get me wrong, morally gray is morally gray and i absolutely understand—god knows i’ve read books with worser heroes.

however it strikes me just how stupid everyone in this book is. especially heroine’s friends? hello? some rich billionaire just offered something ridiculously too good to be true to your friend who’s about to go bankrupt and you’re gonna encourage her all because he has a big [insert eggplant emoji here]? it’s so baffling to me

only one of her friends was against it and it’s only because she would have married for money.. not love. critical thinking skills? nada. considering how at a disadvantage she was—the clear power imbalance. lord. even if it’s meant to be funny, come on now. you can’t possibly be that obtuse.
