This is my first time reading a book of this kind. I needed a lot of moments to process seeing such words on paper. I didn’t know how much of a prude I actually am. I got into it quickly though. Reading about black main characters in such a way was a breathtaking experience. I cannot believe I’ve gone through life without reading this genre and without reading about characters that look like me. A whole world has opened up before me. I’m so thankful. My quest has just started!

Quick & enoyable read. The 🌶️ scenes were not my favorite (those in the first book were more up my alley), though I enjoyed the tug-of-war situation created by the love potion & the action sequence near the end of the book. A character appears in the back half of the book that might be my favorite one so far in this series.

📖 Brie finds herself in a predicament when she accidentally throws a love potion at a werewolf. Felix falls in love at first sight, claiming it’s not the love potion, but that he’s imprinted on Brie. Determined to convince her of his love, the two decide to get to know each other while they wait for the love spell to end.

💭These books are so fun. I love how spicy and funny they are. Some of these one liners make me laugh out loud. I liked that this one also had a mystery element to it. I thought it added nicely to the story. I loved that Brie was into monster smut. I laughed out loud when Felix was questioning her about the reading material on her bookshelf 😂. If you’re looking for something fun and light, these are great books to read.
