This book progressed slowly. I liked Emily until near then end. Then it felt like her character totally changed. I was shocked at how she freaked and ran about what she saw at Gavin's apartment. I get the freak out, just not the fact that she ran and then wouldn't even talk to Gavin. She was a moron. Gavin totally saved this book for me. His heartbreak brought tears to my eyes!

This book was so irritating. But for some reason i couldn’t put it down. Emily was so weak and ignorant and frustrating but i just wanted to see her grow some balls and stand up for her self.

This has to be one of my favorites thus far, despite the cliffhanger ending. I did grow a little frustrated with Emily toward the end because, seriously, we're talking Gavin Blake here. He could tell me the earth was flat and I'd believe! Am dying for the release of book two.

Wow. I am not a believer in love at first sight - that whole 'connection' thing, soulmates, true love, etc... I guess that's why I read about it. :) This book has that in spades - but it's not easy -and I love it when it's not easy... I guess I like my protagonists to be tortured, and boy, are Emily and Gavin tortured... not physically -but emotionally. I loved this, loved watching their relationship evolve. Yes, Emily was a little annoying, but it's easy to judge what you think she should have done when you're on the outside of the relationship. I can't wait to read the next one... Get here soon!! It's a five-star book because I stayed up past 1 AM because I could not stop reading - my alarm goes off at 4:30... it was that good... :)

Hmmmmm, where to start with this book? Though I would love to just sit here and talk nonstop about a certain sexy male, I guess I'd better start from the beginning.

The book started a little slow for me. We're introduced to Emily and Dillon, and the life that they share, but it's a not until Mr. Tall, Dark, and Handsome enters that I was actually gripped. From that point on, I couldn't put the book down, but I had a bit of a journey to get there.

The characters were a mixed bag for me. I loved Gavin, hated Dill-pickle, and went between like and dislike when it came to Emily. Have you ever seen that memo that says about wanting to hit a character with their own book? Yeah, I felt like that on a few occasions with Emily.

Dillon is such a despicable character, and Emily let him get away with too much. There were times that I wanted to scream at her to get a backbone, and then times when she seemed like a strong, sexy, sassy woman, which I loved! Those were the times that were usually down to Gavin.

I think I might be in book boyfriend heaven.

That is how delicious the main man in Gail McHugh's debut novel Collide is. If you haven't read this book yet, then what are you waiting for??? Gavin Blake is up there with the best of them. He's a sexy alpha male, that is sure to grab your attention and not let go.

The chemistry, the passion, the heat, the connection . . . You can feel it all when it comes to Gavin and Emily. They were HOT together and I craved their time together.

After the slow start, this book really had me hooked. There was so much to it; countless twists, and surprises, that had me thinking Oh my word, did that actually just happen???? I love books like that. Stories that keep you on your toes, but also knock you off your feet.

And that ending . . . Oh boy. If you're going to give this book a try, then you are definitely going to be needing the second book in the series straight away. I know I do.

Make room on your bookshelf for this series. I can't wait for more Mr. Blake.
