I did enjoy this book, but Emily really bothered me. She is the type of female character that I really can't stand, so blind to everything around her, jumping to conclusions etc. Her character was the only thing I didn't' enjoy about this book, Im hoping the second book is better and maybe her character can grow. It also definitely needs more Gavin in it,loved him.

This book was delicious torture. Gail McHugh did a worderful job of building up the tension between Gavin and Emily. It was almost excruciatingly painful (but in a good way) to watch their relationship bubble and boil over. I found myself wavering between speed reading through every page so that I could quickly get to what happened next and lingering through the pages so that I could savor every delicious angsty word. My one complaint would be that I have to wait until summer to find out what happens to Gavin and Emily! It ends in a cliff hanger, so if you're like me and have the patience of a three year old, wait until the second book (Pulse) is out so you can read them back to back.

Not a fan of the cliff hanger ending, prefer contemporary books to be wrapped up in one.
Cliche plot point of misunderstanding a situation, however in this one it was understandable because she was his ex fiancé, I can see how that would be jarring knowing he loved this women.
Really cute inside jokes between character that reoccur through the entire novel was really nice
Still a cute, sexy read.
