Oh the suspense. Started good with a body and a wolf hunter. As a reader I tried to see how all the clues fit together until I found out at the end, a let down. Guest stars made it exciting like old friends came to visit.

Another good one, not great but good. This one reminded me more of the Camel Club series with the political intrigue. Also, there are a ton of different mysteries here that get mixed up. It was nice that most of those are closed about 75% into the novel leaving only one for the conclusion. For me, I like Decker's superpower; he is the Memory Man after all. And, Baldacci just doesn't use this plot device very much in this story. That said, I enjoyed it, so a recommend.
Baldacci did a great job with this one. It was another book with two concurrent mysteries and I always enjoy those. Add Robie and Reel to the mix and it got even better. Then Blue Man kind of stole a little of the show in this one as well. I really hope he gives them all another book soon.
Amos is evolving and it’s good for the reader, I’m just not sure it’s good for him. Alex needs to evolve in the next one. She needs a bigger role but that’s really just nitpicking. Looking forward to the next one, just hope it’s after another Robie book.

This is awful. The writing is stilted and ugly. How did this ever get published. Major plot points are missed or awkwardly summed up.
I wish you could give less than 1 star.

I think I’m just not a big fan of detective fiction. It was interesting and held my attention enough but the thriller aspect doesn’t appeal to me much. There were a few different storylines in this book and I didn’t like the way that some parts were wrapped up. It seemed to be random and I’d guess this was done purposely to make the ending harder to predict? Overall, it was interesting enough and I didn’t guess the people responsible beforehand. I think fans of crime/cop/FBI thrillers would enjoy.

Spoiler
One thing that bothered me was that this smart, conniving man who is able to evade them and keep them guessing the entire book gets killed so easily within one paragraph. Seemed rushed and odd.
