Really interesting twist on the murder mystery novel. I loved getting to see the same day through the eyes of different people, and how each host's thoughts and personalities affected Aiden and his view of the situation. Really well thought out, it must have been an incredible feat to try and plot everyone's days and weave the clues to all of the mysteries spread between them. However, I found it quite hard to keep up with who all of the characters were as there were so many of them and none of them stood out too much. More than a few times Aiden would mention someone and I would be scratching my head trying to remember who they were. And I read through pretty quickly so Lord help you if you take a significant break and try and pick it back up again. It took a while for Aiden to learn about the murder, let alone dive into solving it, so he was playing catch up to the basic info on the blurb for longer than I would have liked. Also if you are more interested in the murder mystery than anything (as I was) it was a little bit annoying how much Aiden gets sidetracked doing other things.
But overall a very good read! Would highly recommend

This was close to being a 4 to 5 star read for me. I loved it the first 350ish pages. However, I hated the ending so much. What was that??? What kinda resolution is that???
Why was Anna such an awful person in real life? The fact that she literally tortured and killed the main character's sister???? How was I supposed to feel for her after that? It just ruined the book for me.
I'm giving it this rating for the rest of the book.

Most of this book would have been 2 stars for how I struggled through it but it was unlike any other mystery I’ve experienced so it gains another star. Maybe in a different mood or time I would have liked it better. The way the story spirals in on itself is insane and I truly would have never seen the ending coming, which is frustrating and great at the same time.

For a lot of this book I felt like I wasn’t smart enough to understand it. Now looking back at the whole book, I’m not sure if it was that or if that was its goal. It was pretty hard to follow at some parts, and the beginning was kind of slow/confusing, but once I kind of got a hang on how the book worked the second half felt (kind of) easier, and also more suspenseful. As good as it was though, I felt myself getting a headache trying to do the mental gymnastics. Think this would be a great movie since actually seeing it all happen might be easier to understand..

I loved this book so much. However I could have entirely done without the significant fat phobia in several chapters of this book. That aside, I was totally engrossed in this story. I love that I didn’t have any clue what the ending would be. I was thoroughly shocked at several points in the story. The story was extremely clever and exciting. And an interesting look into values and morals of character.
