Very entertaining and easy to read, but a little bit too slow paced for me. I found myself skimming chapters just to get to the end faster. Loved the final twist at the end though.

I got this arc in exchange for an honest review.

The story was okay i guess? Didn't happen much most of the story, but the scare-built up was there, which was enjoyable. Getting more background on the characters was also a nice touch. The ending seemed a bit rushed and out of nowhere though

I was really excited for this one as it sounded like the perfect isolated winter thriller but I hated the writing and all of the characters and found myself skimming 70% of the book.

Very unlikable characters who I really didn't care about and very bland storytelling.

I wish I could have my time back.

Really enjoyed it. My jaw fell off with that epilogue.

I thought I would really like this book but I found it to be just ok. The characters are a bit one dimensional and some come across as very immature. Other then that the story moved very slowly and I found myself skimming the pages.

I don’t know if it’s the book or it’s me. Maybe I’ve just read too many thrillers with this premise.

Don’t shoot the messenger.. but I didn’t like this book.  I know most people did, and so many people recommended it to me, but it did not click for me.  I really loved the cover and the idea of a locked room winter thriller, but that’s pretty much where my interest ends.  I felt like the story was lacking in.. everything.  It wasn’t thrilling or chilling enough.  There was too much focus on the bird watching details and attempting to build on the characters.  But I didn’t like anyone, I felt like they all made really stupid decisions, and there were a lot of jumping to conclusions.  I did some skimming because there was just so much filler and not enough actual focus on murder.  I found myself walking in circles while reading this book, just like the characters did for about 75% of it. 😆 Then the ending came and I was like, “that’s it?” So yeah, bit of a dud for me.  I hope everyone else enjoys it, though!
