this was another reread for the reading rush 2019 challenge! i don't think it is even possible for me to review Harry Potter and i don't think my review would really bring anything new to the conversation, so i will leave you with my parting words of, "I LOVE HARRY POTTER PLEASE READ IT IF YOU HAVE NOT ALREADY SLYTHERINS ARE SUPERIOR JRNFVFBSKAKKA"

Soooo I am someone who saw the movies first. And this was only about 3.5 years ago for the first time. Loved the whole series. I finally took the plunge into the books and started by turning on this audiobook. Let me tell you, if you're someone like me who had only watched the movies, YOU NEED THE BOOK IN YOUR LIFE. And this audio was beautifully done. I do plan on reading the physical books once my daughter is old enough and I can read them to her.

4.5 ⭐️i’d say about 75% the same as the movie- just a really fucking solid story and introduction to characters and the world
