I only bought this book because: Kristen Ashley. I don't picture myself trying many of these recipes. At 61 I want simple and light on the spice. I wonder how long it will take for me to brave enough to try the recipes.

I saw this book a little while ago and had it in my “save for later” when it popped up on sale for less than £4 so I grabbed it! Dream Bites is not just a cookbook, it is sprinkled with moments from the characters of the Dream Team series, along with appearances from Chaos, Dream Men, and Rock Chicks.

I actually thought it was so special that Kristen put herself in her characters world to give us this book, chatting like they were all old friends, which in a way, I guess they are. And the start of chapter 8 cracked me up! Typical KA plot! 🤣

Fun little snippets into beloved (and soon-to-be ones) characters and some really great looking recipes. Full review to come.

**Received an early copy; this had no bearing on my opinions**

Eh

It wasn’t great. It was way more cookbook and less stories about my favorite characters. So if you are looking for cooking go for it but if you wanted follow up on your favorite series, you can skip it.

Dream Bites was a such a unique reading experience! I like the super short stories that accompanied each set of recipes. I plan on making a few of them myself as soon as I go grocery shopping for the ingredients.

I love that half of the proceeds of this cookbook go to the Rock Chick Nation Charities. What a great idea!!

It was nice to visit with each Dream Team, even those couples that aren’t officially a couple yet. And one surprise guest made super smiley. I see fun things happening in the future. AND I AM HERE FOR IT.

I received an arc and this is my honest review.
