Listened the audiobook and the narration by the author was really good. The audiobook also contained clips of Chika's voice, which added to the sweetness of the story. The story was sweet, but I don't think I would have been as invested if I hadn't listened on audio.

I would rate it somewhere between 2 and 3 ⭐️

Not sure how I feel about the story itself but listening to Chika’s voice in the audiobook was very sweet.

I loved this book so much. Tells the story of how a man who comes to Haiti to help after the earthquake in 2010 ends up in charge of an orphanage and doing everything in his power to help a little girl who is very sick. It was so emotional as an adoptive parent of a boy from Haiti.
