Very graphic with much obscene depiction.  Not much left to the imagination.

This is the first book I've read by this author but I wasn't keen... the focus is on Myron Bolitar, ex pro footballer, ex FBI and now football agent/investigator. He starts looking into the disappearance of his ex girlfriends sister, Kathy. She disappeared over a year ago without a trace. Her father has now been murdered in an apparent robbery. Myron is suspicious but increasingly so when a photograph of Kathy turns up in an adult magazine. It seems unclear if Kathy is alive or dead but either way there is more going on than meets the eye.
This is a gritty story- gangster style killings, rape, blackmail, secrets, infidelity - its all in here. I quite liked Myron. He's clever and thorough. His friend and associate Win is the real star of the show though. Total hard case!
Im not sure why I struggled with this. The story was clever, everything came to a good conclusion and I quite liked the characters.... the good guys at least! All I know is it didnt really hold my interest.
