I LOVED this book! It offers such a lovely insight into the lives of four friends through the lens of haircare. It's something that can be so intimate and a bonding experience for our characters - whether its asking for help through a difficult time or reconnecting with a loved one. These four friends are so fiercely protective and it was such a blast to read their story.

The artwork was awesome and I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a graphic novel that will wrap you up in a blanket and comfort your soul.

Adorable and beautiful graphic novel that highlights the little moments in a black woman’s life, as well as the beauty of friendship. While it’s incredibly lighthearted, the small moments that tug at your heart strings really make this a perfectly well rounded string of vignettes. Would recommend!

A great visual display of Black womanhood and friendship. I really liked the watercolor-inspired art style and felt like the vignettes stood really well on their own. Such fun characters and a vibrant world.

I loved this graphic novel! It is a beautiful portrait of friendship, sisterhood and joy. The art in this novel is vibrant and beautiful, most of all I loved how haircare is portrayed and how the hair itself connects the whole story.

This was cute. It made me laugh. I feel for Davene. Cookie is a real one for what she did for Davene. This is my Intro to getting into graphic novels and eventually Manga.

I want to see what happened to this group of friends.
