Amazing!
I very much enjoyed this book. There were frustrating parts like her wonderlust I just didn't understand but that was just me. I loved Duane and Jess and I want to read all the Winston Boys books asap! Her writing style is very smart, I actually had to think And define some words. Lol I will definitely be reading more by Ms. Penny Reid

The thing I loved the most is Duane is very close to his brothers (and sister).I loved their strong bond and I did find it funny but characters constantly refer to each other by first and last name that was annoying.Duane I liked but he wanted to move so fast,Jess was when she was at her best just okay, because most of time I wanted to strangle her. This was ok from me, Winston's brothers are very easy to love and I'm interested in Park Ranger Jethro story.

J'avais vraiment adoré Beauty and the mustache et Truth or dare m'avait franchement mis l'eau à la bouche ...
La description de Duane, tant au niveau de son physique que de son caractère avait fait battre mon petit cœur sensible, du coup, j'avais pas mal d'attentes sur ce tome.
Globalement, j'ai bien aimé ce livre, mais sans plus. Alors oui, j'ai apprécié retrouver l'écriture de Penny Reid, que vraiment, j'aime beaucoup ; je suis irrémédiablement tombée sous le charme de Duane, son côté ombrageux et romantique passionné m'a fait craquer. Cependant, je n'ai pas apprécié l'héroine, elle m'a plutôt agacée.
L'un des vrais bonheurs de ce livre, hormis Duane et ses pensées/déclarations à sa pâmer tant elles sont émouvantes, hot, romantiques ... ; c'est la tribu Winston. J'adore cette bande de fous, et j'ai eu un énorme coup de cœur pour Cletus qui m'a fait mourir de rire à de multiples reprises.

June 2023: When I can feel myself possibly getting into a reading slump, as is the case this month, I tend to pick up romance books I've read before, specifically some of my favorite companion series. I have an easier time getting into them because the writing is accessible and I've read them before so it won't make me anxious for what happens as much. I decided to pick this series in particular this time around 1. because I re-read another Penny Reid series earlier this year and I had a good time doing so and 2. because I love the humor in these books and I hoped they would lift my spirits a bit. I was right! Thank goodness. This first book sets the bar really high but its not one of my favorites. I really love Jessica as a main character. She's so self-aware; she really knows and understands herself and tries to follow her heart no matter what. Duane takes some getting used to because of his rough exterior, but he's actually a really genuine gentleman. I love how they kind of stumble into their romance, yet he's 100% sure the entire time of how much he wants her and just her. They're super cute and I think their story sets up the rest of the series really well too.
