As I keep reading this series, this reminds me why I love manga.
There's a great slow burn in the pacing in the story that works here along with the hints of dark, magic and fantasy and the characterizations of the each character slowly coming into their own.
Lindel, being that gossip of a friend, has just given me and Chise a great look into Elias' past which has only intrigued me more to know about him. I love that bone-head and the fact that other characters see him in a similar light is just so much fun to me because it definitely telling of his character.

While I truly admire the slow and caring romance that progresses in unrushed increments, I find everything else to be too slow moving.
The characters and magic are interesting enough, but I’m struggling with keeping my interest in reading this longer than a few chapters at once. At least with this volume it doesn’t end in a crazy cliffhanger so I might manage letting myself slip away from this series for a bit.

I think this was my favorite volume yet!!! Bring on Volume 5! Deepening relationships are always amazing to read about! #chiseandeliasforever
