Not my favourite of the series so far by a wide margin. It does end much stronger than it starts, but the non-fiction in this one never really grabbed my attention except the van Clausewitz. Hughes 'Crown of Thorns' is another fun visit to Barley Cross, Williams 'Ligdan and and the Young Pretender' is a hoot and Garrett's 'The Highest Treason' is pretty neat once you swallow the original premise.

If you've liked the others in the series, this one will probably mildly appeal to you, if not, go ahead and skip this one.
