This was a great book. I wanted there to be more at the end, but it was good.

This was so good, one of my favorites. The ending is so good, I wish I could re-read it for the first time again.

Wonderful reading!
Very interesting and accurate story. At the beginning it felt a bit weird to read about the covid pandemic because I still feel it so close like yesterday, and so many details resonated with me because my brother was doing his residency while the pandemic happened. I have to say the book gave me a bit of closure and a lot of hope

Grateful for a snowy spring break day to inhale a book! This novel from Picoult might be one of my favorites from her, possibly because it's so fresh and timely.

A little bit too much of anti-Trump, pro-vaccine to me. Feels like the author is trying to convince her audience to her views related to the pandemic. The timeline felt wrong as well, Diana arrived at Galapagos right when pandemic started and within few first days people were wearing fabric sewn face masks? Maybe yes, maybe not, but I feel like the facts were a little bit off.
As for the romance part of it, her relationship with Gabriel really grew on me and then Jodi P switched it 180 degrees. By the end of the book her boyfriend, Finn, started annoying the hell out of me, his character changed so much from all these lovey-dovey messages and conversations.
Overall, not my favourite.

Well written and I was intrigued by a lot of the story parts. But I am not ready to relive the pain of the pandemic.
Comparatively, I thought The Sentence worked through the pain of the pandemic without shoving it back down your throat the way Picoult did here. But Wish You Were Here shows a reality from the side of the medical world that should be explored and written about, I'm just not there yet (and might not be).
