3.5 ⭐️ The final installment in the Hades POV of the story, and I finally feel like we got a little more detail and background on all the things happening around the power couple. Initially, I wasn’t pleased to get POVs from 2 new characters….and honestly could have done without Theseus, but I feel like it brought a bit more depth so it didn’t have to just be an exact retelling of the same spicy scenes from “malice”. I feel like this definitely could have been a bit more concise and it still probably had more spice than plot that didn’t necessarily serve to push the narrative forward, but overall I enjoyed it and will finish out the series. I also think it should be noted that I think my ratings have been helped by binging these books instead of reading them as released or with long breaks in between.

It is taking all that is in me right now to not immediately jump into A Touch of Chaos. The cliffhanger at the end of this and A Touch of Malice is going to make it hard to sleep tonight (it is almost midnight). In this book we get a POV from a few different characters including Theseus (who the author did a fabulous job making him a hateable character imo). I loved that we got to see more of Dionysus and Ariadne in this one as well. Along with the other typical characters. I cannot wait to read A Touch of Chaos!

Honestly I'm so sad about this! I love this series and Hades and Persephone!
