My first Ronald Malfi book and I enjoyed it. Another "horror" recommendation that I will have to disagree with. While a nice suspense with a tiny bit of supernatural thrown in, I didn't really get the horror/fear vibe I'd read and heard about.
All in all I did enjoy the story, a nice pace of writing, and overall not bad.

I think I would have liked this book more if I knew going into it that it’s 98% crime thriller and 2% paranormal.
The book is shelved with horror books and is labeled as such on the paperback version I bought. There are very few horror elements to the story, which I was disappointed by. I think the book is a solid and enjoyable crime thriller, but it falls a bit short as a horror novel.

'Come With Me' was my first read from Ronald Malfi and this one will be up there with the absolute best of the year!
Ronald Malfi does an excellent job with this well crafted suspenseful mystery that also explores grief and obsession. There is a supernatural element to the story that ties in very well and does not actually require much suspension of disbelief.
If you love a slower paced mystery, serial killers, a creepy atmosphere, you will probably love this.

A fantastic story that kept me guessing throughout as to whether there were real supernatural elements, or if it all boiled down to more mundane - but no less frightening - evil. It caught me off guard with a surprisingly beautiful and heartfelt ending, too.
Listened to the audiobook version, read brilliantly by Joe Hempel.
