Can we get more Riella please?

I had to read this book in two sittings because I was travelling, but if I had the chance I would have finished in one.

This book has a little bit of everything. Fight between good and evil? Check. A strong independent female character? Check. Sexy demons and demon hunters? Check.

Riella is an angel whom to protect humanity from Hell ends up on Earth. But she doesn't have her powers anymore, and she starts to feel emotions that she thought were long gone. But the worst (best?) thing is that these feelings are directed to some demons. Riella is in for a long fight.

I enjoyed this stand-alone from Ginna and Elie! It was action packed with a little bit of spice. Riella is forced from Heaven on the pretense of helping Heaven’s army and finds help from Dagan, River, Storm and Damien. Damien is my favorite, his one liners are unmatched and made me laugh out loud.

I love Ginna’s books and Elie is a new writer to me but I can’t wait to read more from these authors!

I don't know if I have words to describe how well this came together. Both authors writing styles flow so well together you can't even tell there were two of them. The twists and turns are perfect to leave you in suspense and suck you right in. The spicy scenes are

This was a great standalone
We have got a new side of fallen angel with two hot hunter brother, and demons
This was really an interesting read.
Riella gets kicked from heaven and became fallen but her mentor made her think it was for some great mission.
She quickly understand there is way more than that as she meet hunters who tried to chase her newly met hot demon succubus.
This was a good twist of fallen angel and how it works with a good world ( a bit short for the world building but enough as it was a standalone )

First of all, any book by Ginna Moran is going to be smoking hot and she did not disappoint. I absolutely love that Riella (the FMC) is an angel and has to realize that demons aren’t as bad as she always assumed. I’m digging the multiple POV’s in the book and that it took a little work for the FMC and her men to form a relationship. The story line kept me guessing until the very end and the action made me finish the book in one sitting. I thoroughly enjoyed Rise from the Flames, well done!

Riella has fallen from Heaven to join the war on Earth between Heaven and Hell … or so she believes.

This was a good book with a strong female lead, who battles to save humanity from evil with the help of a demon and two angel blessed demon hunters.

Riella has to adjust to re-discovering emotions she thought had long gone and adjust to her new status after falling from Heaven.

A good standalone if your looking for a gap between reads.

I wanted more of this book, of these characters, of all of it!! Rise From the Flames is good as a standalone, but I could just imagine this book as a series. I'd devour it. I want more!! LOL! An angel gets "kicked" out of Heaven and sent to the mortal plane. She's not supposed to be here, so what's going on? Well, upon "landing" she crosses paths with a demon and then two hunters are quick to follow. Sounds like a giant ball of chaos ready to make a mess - and that's exactly what happens!
These characters, aside from River, would so much fun to read and engage with. River was probably my least favorite because of his attitude, but we always have to have that one guy who insists on being a jerk, right? Well, he's that token guy. He may or may not mellow out in the book, but he's really one of those ones who insists on irritating my soul. LOL!
Now, I had mixed feelings when it came to Riella, but she's a really good character all-in-all. She's a bit all over the place, and I feel that in some moments she's a bit naive, but she does start to pull herself together and this book is really good.
I'm rating this book 4.5 out 5 stars. I loved so much about this book. A couple of the characters were a bit all over the place, but it's really good. I would have loved if this book had been turned into a series, but maybe we'll get more of these characters another day. A girl can hope right? LOL!
