I am almost done with this series and it is making me very sad. It is like I am saying goodbye to some old friends.

Excellent

This is a superb series that I love. They make me laugh cry and think. Everything one needs from a good book.

The Bellingwood Series is unashamedly twee and fluffy with a PG rated murder thrown in. It's exactly what you need sometimes. These books are a tonic. They're like a quaint, daytime, straight to TV movie on a rainy day.

I had just finished the most bleak story I'd ever read and I knew exactly what to reach for to put me back on an even keel, Polly and her friends.

There is at least one murder in every book but the mystery surrounding them is the secondary plot. The main plot is always Polly and her ever expanding Bellingwood family.

Look Always Forward was less dramatic than some of the Bellingwood Series, it pulled less on the heart strings but it introduced some interesting new characters that we're left wondering about. Book 11 feels like a transition, not a filler but a necessary step from 10 to 12.

I enjoyed it, it did what I wanted it to do and now I'll move on to a more substantial read. I'll return to Bellingwood when I most need it.
