I enjoyed Santaland setting and I'm definitely on board for more Holiday mysteries in this Series.
My only complaint was for Nick and April having such a whirlwind romance and marrying quickly, they seemed to have very little chemistry as a couple. Maybe because some people don't want to see Santa and Mrs Claus being affectionate?

This had the potential to be an interesting read; instead, it was a lacklustre cozy mystery. I thought the setting & concept was really good - there’s been a murder in Santaland & the main suspect is Santa - but the execution was off. The over the top sweetness, the extreme incompetence of the police, the talking reindeer & the way the Claus family treated April all had a part in making this story feel just a little off.

A Christmas themed cozy is what is ordered for December. This story was cute, very Christmas-y and full of cute characters. I went into the story blind not knowing what it was about. I enjoyed the story. April, the protagonist, after a whirlwind romance with Mr. Claus, she married Nick and moved the North Pole. Not everyone was happy about it. One jolly Claus tried to put a damper on the whole Christmas Town. My favorite character was the clumsy reindeer Quasar. Yes, the reindeer talk. I think the story would have been better if some of the characters were more friendly instead of gloomy. There were too many culprits in the town. That's my opinion. The mystery was a little predictable but it was a surprise about the events that lead up to it the discovery.
I would recommend this if you want a light cozy.
