The experiences and attitudes of the book's protagonist are so very, very far outside of anything I have ever had to deal with that I'm not sure what combination of fascination, disgust, pity, and admiration I have for her. I spent a lot of time shocked or shaking my head. Mostly I think that difference made it important for me to read this book.

This is not normally my type of book at all, but my boss gave it to me to read, so here I am.

A great book .
The journey of Winter feels so organic to me in many ways. The way Sister Soulja described her adventure is so unique, raw and real.

The ending was kind of abrupt but honestly it worked so well. Winter girl... priorities were not prioritizing correctly. It wasn't her fault, but wow did it make you a little crazy to watch a character be so blinded by her misplaced convictions. Such a fun read💕

I think I go against the majority. I liked the book at first but half way through it took too long to get to the point. I got frustrated, quit reading and googles what happened at the end. Just as quick as I gained interest in the book I lost it that fast too.

Read this for a speech class. The book wasn't my favorite, but it was good. I knocked it a star because I thought it tacky the author added herself to the story using her own name.
